У статті систематизовано та проаналізовано теорії та парадигми регіонального розвитку та визначено можливості оптимального розвитку національної економіки в умовах глобалізації, адже функціонування ринкової системи супроводжується кризовими явищами і вимагає глибокого наукового вивчення сучасної економічної теорії і практики виходу з кризи із застосуванням новітніх концепцій економічного розвитку. Проведено дослідження процесу формування і розвитку теорії економічного простору, розглянуто основні наукові школи і погляди провідних науковців на проблему просторового розвитку, здійснено оцінку внеску кожного з них в удосконалення процесів моделювання економічного простору й оформлення теорії економічного простору. Доведено, що відсутність єдиного підходу до основ теорії економічного простору не дозволяє приступити до розв'язку низки практичних проблем системного формування єдиного економічного простору країни і такі проблеми ставлять безліч питань прикладного характеру, на які економічна теорія не завжди може дати однозначну відповідь. Отримані результати дали можливість визначити необхідні методологічні основи удосконалення регіонального розвитку, зробити акцент на найбільш впливових напрямах в теорії розвитку національної економіки, обґрунтувати концептуалізацію оптимальної моделі розвитку національної економіки в умовах глобалізації.
The article analyzes the theories and paradigms of regional development and determines the possibilities of optimal development of the national economy in the conditions of globalization, since the functioning of the market system is accompanied by crisis phenomena and requires a deep scientific study of modern economic theory and practice of the crisis with the use of the latest concepts of economic development. The study of the process of formation and development of the theory of economic space, the main scientific schools and the views of leading scientists on the spatial development problem are considered, the contribution of each of them to the improvement of the simulation processes of the economic space and the design of the theory of economic space has been made. It is proved that the lack of a unified approach to the principles of the theory of economic space does not allow to begin to solve a number of practical problems of systemic formation of a single economic space of the country, and such problems raise a lot of questions of an applied nature, on which economic theory may not always give an unambiguous answer. Such issues are of course theoretical interest, but the main thing - the answers to them can contribute to the formation of an effective competitive national economy. The aim is to investigate the imperatives of the effective development of the locally-spatial system, taking into account its resource potential, identifying possible ways of its realization for the purpose of development of the regional economic space and providing strategic orientations and goals of socio-economic development. The main task of the study was the formation on this basis of anti-crisis measures for the development of the national economy in a globalized world. The subject of the study is theoretical positions and methodology for the formation of a polarized space with a low quality of economic space. The methodological basis of this research is the dialectical method of cognition, the systematic approach, the fundamental positions of economic theory and the theory of polarized space. The obtained results allowed to determine the necessary methodological bases for improving regional development, to emphasize the most influential trends in the theory of development of the national economy, to substantiate the conceptualization of the optimal model of development of the national economy in the conditions of globalization.
