Description |
When the movie "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" was released in late 1967, the Supreme Court of the United States of America had declared anti-miscegenation laws (laws prohibiting people from marrying across racial boundaries) unconstitutional. This was at the high point of the Civil Rights Movement, and there were some Americans who believed that mixing of the races was the only way racial discrimination would be eliminated.
