| Description |
In the spectra of comets 9P/Tempel 1 and C/2004 Q2 (Machholz) were detected luminescence cometary continuum tied with the luminescence of carbon molecules which have contained in comet dust particles. For comet Tempel 1 (9P) on March 14–15, 2005 the level of the non-solar-origin continuum equal to 10-15% of the sum continuum level at 500 nm. For comet Machholz (C/2004 Q2), in March 14-15, 2005 the level of the non-solar-origin continuum equal to 30% of the sum continuum level at 450 nm, 15% – at 550 nm.
